Purpose
Support Manufacturing Engineering activities in the production area through data collection, problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing scrap, improving process performance and supporting future product introductions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, structure and analyse production, quality and scrap data.
- Support root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on process performance.
- Monitor key manufacturing KPIs, including Scrap and FTQ.
- Support documentation updates according to IATF requirements.
- Assist Manufacturing Engineers in implementing and validating improvement actions.
- Prepare reports and present findings to cross-functional teams.
- Support problem-solving taskforces and improvement workshops.
Profile
- Degree or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in manufacturing and continuous improvement.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Excel; Power BI is a plus.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English.
