Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Administrative Nurse, you will merge your clinical expertise with administrative excellence, driving efficiency and ensuring quality patient care coordination.Every day you will manage administrative duties, leverage clinical knowledge for operational support, and contribute to process improvements and policy adherence in our dynamic healthcare setting.To be successful in this role, you will blend clinical proficiency with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, fostering a highly functional and patient-centered environment.

  • Demonstrates ability to coordinate the operations of the unit ensuring compliance to the hospital policy, unit standards, and the various governing regulations.
  • Coordinates admissions, discharges, and transfers ensuring the dissemination of needed information.
  • Demonstrates ability to modulate the activity on the unit to sustain efficiency and the values of the organization.
  • Directly supervises staffing to ensure appropriate levels and break assignments.
  • Mentors staff, teaching, instructing and guiding staff, is a clinical resource.
  • Assists with the Performance Improvement and Continuous Quality Improvement projects of the unit as well as those of the hospital that apply to the unit.

Job Requirements

Required:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing., upon hire or
  • Three (3) years of clinical experiencewithin the past five (5) years in theassigned service., upon hire and
  • Demonstratedleadership in the department within thelast two (2) years, such as but not limitedto project management, charge nurse role,relief charge, and/or preceptor., upon hire and
  • Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire

Preferred:

  • Experience prepping and recovering CVpatients, upon hire
