Position Summary
Join our team as a Maintenance Technician and make a direct impact by keeping our equipment reliable, production running, and our workplace safe. This hands-on role supports the operation of our manufacturing facility through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely repairs of production equipment, facility systems, and building infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a safety-focused problem solver who values quality work, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
- Inspect equipment and facility systems to identify potential failures and complete necessary repairs.
- Support installation, setup, calibration, and maintenance of production equipment.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and facility emergencies to restore operations safely.
- Complete work orders, maintenance records, and preventive maintenance documentation accurately.
- Partner with production teams to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Maintain tools, spare parts, and maintenance areas in a safe and organized condition.
- Follow all safety requirements, including OSHA standards and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Support continuous improvement efforts and perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years of industrial, manufacturing, or facility maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, pneumatics, hydraulics, and general building systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and equipment reliability principles.
- Basic computer skills for work orders, maintenance documentation, and CMMS systems.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment safely.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and perform hands-on maintenance tasks throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely work at heights up to 40 feet while using required fall protection and PPE.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, dust, humidity, and noise levels.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and respond to emergency call-outs as needed.
