Lower Bucks Hospital is a community hospital, serving the Lower Bucks County region with medical, surgical, and emergency care. Located in historic Bristol, Pennsylvania, the Hospital is well-known for its knowledgeable medical staff, including cardiology, orthopedics, radiology, wound care, and general surgery. The hospital has more than 200 physicians on staff, as well as another 700 employees.

 

Responsibilities

A Patient Sitter is an unlicensed non-certified assistive person who assists with maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

1. Previous patient care experience or student in nursing or another medical field preferred.2. Current BLS (AHA) and maintain current.3. Possesses knowledge of medical terminology, preferred.4. Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
