Sr Regulatory Compliance Analyst (EPIC)

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Senior Regulatory Compliance Analyst - EPIC, you will spearhead the delivery of critical healthcare quality initiatives, specifically focusing on Promoting Interoperability, the Quality Payment Program (QPP), and Inpatient Quality Reporting (IQR) electronic measures. You will serve as the subject matter expert for the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and associated clinical applications, ensuring our organization maintains strict adherence to federal regulatory standards and data integrity requirements.

 

Every day you will conduct comprehensive regulatory assessments and perform in-depth data analysis to support ongoing compliance activities. You will be responsible for creating, acquiring, and maintaining meticulous documentation necessary for audits and state/federal reporting. Your daily workflow will involve proactive monitoring of shifting regulatory requirements, facilitating necessary system changes, and performing investigative problem-solving to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of our clinical quality reporting metrics.

 

To be successful in this role, you will possess a deep technical understanding of EPIC EHR systems and electronic clinical quality measures (eCQMs). We are looking for an analytical professional who is highly skilled in performance monitoring, data development, and cross-functional communication. You must have a proven ability to manage complex audit documentation and translate regulatory mandates into actionable processes that drive clinical efficiency and organizational compliance.

 

Essential Functions:

• Monitor and analyze the performance of quality measures, certified technology, and reporting requirements
• Provide expert EHR knowledge regarding measure mapping, clinical workflows, and database validation
• Conduct educational presentations and communicate complex data findings to cross-functional teams
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of all regulatory data and deliverables
• Collaborate with internal partners, market resources, and external stakeholders to achieve program goals
• Manage the review and response process for all internal and external regulatory audits

Job Requirements

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience may be considered
• Minimum of 3 years related experience with Epic required
• Experience with data management, analysis, investigation and problem solving required
• Experience in a large matrixed healthcare delivery system required
• EPIC certification or Board Certified Ambulatory

 

Preferred:

• Master's degree
• Minimum of 3 years experience with Promoting Interoperability and electronic qualty measured preferred
• Minimum of 3 years in a clinical role
• Registered Nurse or Pharmacy Tech
