We're seeking an experienced Parts Storeperson to take ownership of our warehouse operations in Dandenong South. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive warehousing professional who enjoys working autonomously, driving continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
This role is ideal for someone looking to step beyond traditional pick-pack duties and become a key contributor to the success of our Parts and Service operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of parts and machine components
- Coordinate customer orders, freight requirements and stock movements
- Pick, pack and dispatch orders accurately and on schedule
- Conduct goods receipting, quality inspections and inventory transactions
- Maintain warehouse organisation and stock accuracy
- Lead and assist with stocktakes and cycle counts
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse operations
- Process supplier invoices, transfer requests and warehouse documentation
- Safely operate forklifts and assist with loading and unloading activities
- Champion a strong safety culture and maintain 5S housekeeping standards
- Support workshop and field service teams with parts allocation and inventory requirements
What You'll Bring

Essential
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a warehouse, stores or parts environment
- Current Forklift Licence
- Strong inventory management and stock control experience
- Experience using ERP or inventory management systems
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound day-to-day decisions
Desirable
- Experience within heavy equipment, manufacturing, automotive, mining or industrial sectors
- Overhead Crane Licence
- Exposure to continuous improvement or warehouse optimisation initiatives
