DuPont is seeking a Change Management Leader to help shape the future of innovation by accelerating adoption of new ways of working across our global Innovation organization. In this highly visible individual contributor role, you will lead change management efforts supporting digital transformation, AI-enabled capabilities, innovation management processes, and business transformation initiatives that improve innovation effectiveness, speed, and growth outcomes.
Partnering closely with business, technical, and functional leaders, you will help drive enterprise-wide adoption of transformational initiatives while building lasting organizational capability. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence how innovation is executed across DuPont and contribute directly to our growth agenda.
This role is located at the Experimental Station in Wilmington, Delaware and reports to the Innovation Excellence Leader.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead change management strategies that accelerate adoption of digital, data, and AI-enabled capabilities across R&D and innovation organizations.
- Partner with business, technical, and functional leaders to implement new innovation processes, operating models, and ways of working that improve execution and growth outcomes.
- Develop and execute stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and adoption plans to support transformational initiatives.
- Build and sustain change champion networks and leader engagement strategies that reinforce new behaviors and drive lasting adoption.
- Establish success metrics and feedback mechanisms to measure adoption, organizational readiness, capability development, and business impact.
- Identify organizational barriers, resistance points, and capability gaps, and implement actions that accelerate transformation and improve employee engagement.
- Coach leaders and project teams to effectively lead change within their organizations and build sustainable internal change capability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading organizational change, digital transformation, business process transformation, or technology adoption initiatives.
- Demonstrated success driving change across large, complex, matrixed organizations.
- Experience applying recognized change management methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR, Kotter) to deliver measurable adoption outcomes.
- Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and influence skills with the ability to build alignment across all organizational levels.
- Experience developing communications, training, and capability-building programs that drive behavior change and business results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to measure adoption, value realization, and organizational effectiveness.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting innovation organizations, R&D environments, engineering teams, or technology-intensive industries.
- Experience driving adoption of digital, AI, analytics, or portfolio management capabilities.
- Experience linking transformation initiatives to innovation productivity, speed-to-market, growth, or operational excellence outcomes.
- Experience leading teams, projects, or change networks in a formal or informal leadership capacity.
