Description
Why Patients Need You
Patient Solutions is an evolving and highly important area for the success of Pfizer Specialty Care. Due to the complexity of the patient journey in many Specialty Care therapeutic areas, up to 50% of specialty medications never get dispensed after an HCP writes the prescription. The role of Specialty Care Access and Reimbursement is to remove barriers to access through education and streamlined processes that accelerate fulfillment, helping appropriate patients get access to the medication their HCP has prescribed.
What You Will Achieve
The Specialty Care Access and Reimbursement Enablement Team Lead will work across a broad, multi-disciplinary group of internal and external stakeholders to develop, evolve, and lead projects and programs to advance the Access and Reimbursement groups' mission to help patients. They will develop a process of continuous improvement measured by clearly defined key performance indicators that serve as benchmarks for success across the platform. The Specialty Care Access and Reimbursement Enablement Team Lead will report directly to the Specialty Care Patient Solutions Strategy and Enablement Lead, with a dotted-line relationship to Access and Reimbursement leadership, and is responsible for leading and coaching the Specialty Care Access and Reimbursement Enablement Team.
This leader brings a deep understanding of all Specialty Care Access and Reimbursement priorities, using that knowledge to compliantly drive team impact and efficiency. This role requires a professional who is adept at handling multiple responsibilities, including team leadership, presentations, data reporting, and cross-functional coordination. The successful candidate will provide insights from an enterprise echelon applied to a regional and territory level of execution.
The Team Lead will partner with key cross-functional partners on AI strategy within Access and Reimbursement, which ladders up to an overall Patient Solutions AI strategy — identifying where AI can meaningfully improve the patient and customer experience, shaping the roadmap for AI-enabled tools and capabilities, and enabling the Specialty Care Access and Reimbursement Enablement Team to consistently pull through that AI strategy across territories and stakeholders.
