Job Description:
We are looking for a Strategic Program Leader with deep services and program expertise, strong enterprise understanding, and technical awareness—able to independently lead complex programs, bring external insight, and drive both transformation and execution.
Role Overview
PMO Transformation Initiatives Lead will drive the PMO 2.0 Initiatives to grow and excel in the following key areas
1) Expand PMO function beyond A&PS, to start with to Lifecycle Services
2) Design and drive PM Capability Initiatives
3) Excel Project Management rigor to achieve higher delivered margin, obtain upsells and to reduce red projects through transformation programs
4) Drive AI in PMO and Project Management activities to optimize the delivery
5) Create and drive PMO Unified Dashboard for better governance and oversight
This role requires a strong understanding of Services Delivery, Business Units (BUs), and the broader enterprise landscape, combined with technical awareness, process expertise, and a strategic mindset.
Operates independently across multiple programs, leads matrix teams, and steps into detailed project management where required to drive execution. Brings an outside-in perspective and drives innovative, practical solutions
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end transformation programs
Manage program portfolio delivery (scope, timeline, budget, risks, outcomes)
Act as a hands-on project manager and leads global matrix teams as needed
Represent Services Delivery in strategic initiatives and governance forums
Align stakeholders on priorities, requirements, and success metrics
Translate strategy into execution plans, KPIs, and change initiatives
Identify and resolve operational gaps, dependencies, and root causes
Drive governance, risk management, and benefits realisation
Track and communicate program health and impact to senior leadership
Drive adoption of automation, technology, and continuous improvement
Mentor team members and support capability building
Apply a strategic, outside-in mindset:
Challenge existing ways of working
Bring in external benchmarks and best practices
Introduce innovative and scalable solutions
Experience & Qualifications
First level university degree
Typically 10 in program/project management or services delivery
PMP or equivalent preferred
Strong experience across Professional Services, SSD and Managed Services
Proven delivery of large, cross-functional transformation programs
Experience managing global, matrix teams and senior stakeholders
Strong process experience (advantage)
Knowledge & Skills
Excellent understanding of end-to-end services delivery
Strong technical awareness (automation, tooling, digital transformation)
Expertise in program governance, risk management, and change management (MOC)
Experience with Lean / Six Sigma / Kaizen
Strong business acumen and ability to connect strategy to execution
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
Data-driven mindset with focus on KPIs and measurable outcomes
Process-focused mindset with ability to simplify, standardize, and scale operations
Critical thinker with ability to bring external insights and new thinking
Comfortable in complex, ambiguous environments
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability
Customer-focused and outcome-driven
