A Day in the Life

As an Order Management Specialist, you will play an important role in supporting our customers and ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team where attention to detail, customer focus and ownership are valued, while gaining experience within a global medical technology company.

Based in our Prague office, this is a full-time position working 40 hours per week during standard business hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00–16:30. The role offers a hybrid working environment, combining office-based collaboration with the possibility of working from home. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to support the order lifecycle and resolve order-related queries and issues.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Receive and process customer orders through email and other available channels
• Enter and manage customer orders in SAP (Systems, Applications and Products) and follow up on open orders
• Execute product movement-related transactions and maintain accurate order information in SAP
• Respond to customer enquiries by email and telephone regarding orders, deliveries, invoicing and related requests
• Coordinate with shipping and relevant internal teams to clarify orders and support timely fulfilment
• Handle customer complaints, ensure appropriate registration and coordinate resolution with relevant teams
• Issue invoices, credit notes and other order-related documentation when required

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Fluency in Czech or Slovak and English at B2 level or higher
• Bachelor's degree or secondary education with relevant professional experience
• Experience in customer service, order management, administration or another relevant operational environment
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication, organizational and coordination skills, with a customer-focused approach
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence working with business systems and digital tools

Previous experience with SAP or another enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, as well as experience with order processing, invoicing or customer fulfilment, would be an advantage.

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
