Description
Our client, a top Canadian bank, is hiring an Account Manager, Commercial Banking Agriculture for Southwestern Ontario.
Reporting to the Associate Vice President – Agriculture, Ontario, the Account Manager, Commercial Banking Agriculture will manage a portfolio of clients and provide client support within the agribusiness community.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement business development strategies to ensure sustained growth in agriculture
- Perform analyses of your protfolio to identify oppportunities for clients' changing needs
- Establish trust-based relationships with colleageus and collaborate with your team
- Negotiate terms and conditions of agreements with clients
- Understand the general issues specific to the various agriculture production sectors
- Particpate in targeted industry activities to generate contacts and grow your network
DESIRED PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in banking and credit indsutry is an asset
- Aptitude for sales and business development
- Confident, independent thinker and self-motivated
- Knowledge and involvement in the agriculture industry
