JOB SUMMARY
The Ski & Bag Storage Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while safely storing, organizing, and retrieving guests' ski, snowboard, and personal belongings. This role ensures equipment is accurately tagged, securely stored, and efficiently returned while maintaining an organized, clean, and safe storage facility.
The ideal candidate is energetic, dependable, and enjoys interacting with guests in a fast-paced resort environment. Storage Attendants work closely with the Rental, Retail, and Lift Operations teams to create a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure. Team members are expected to maintain accurate inventory, assist with point-of-sale transactions, recommend resort products and services, and take pride in keeping the storage facility organized and operating efficiently.
This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to protecting guest property while delivering friendly, professional service.

Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn point-of-sale (POS) and storage management software.
Ability to learn resort products, services, and promotions to answer guest questions and make recommendations.
Strong attention to detail to ensure guest belongings are handled safely and accurately.
Ability to resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate.
Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Ability to prioritize tasks during busy arrival and departure periods.
Willingness to assist other Rental and Retail operations as business demands require.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and peak vacation periods.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Open and prepare the Ski & Bag Storage facility for daily operations.
Securely store, organize, and retrieve guest skis, snowboards, boots, poles, bags, and personal belongings using established inventory procedures.
Accurately tag and track all guest equipment to ensure timely and accurate retrieval.
Process storage transactions, season storage accounts, and daily storage services using the point-of-sale system.
Collect payments and accurately reconcile daily transactions.
Maintain security and accountability for all guest equipment stored within the facility.
Perform routine inspections of stored equipment and notify supervisors of damaged or abandoned items.
Assist guests with carrying, loading, and transporting equipment when appropriate.
Maintain organized storage racks and maximize storage capacity throughout the season.
Wax season-storage skis and snowboards according to department standards.
Maintain cleanliness of guest areas, storage rooms, walkways, entrances, and workstations.
Remove snow and ice from entrances, exits, walkways, and storage areas to provide a safe environment for guests and employees.
Communicate effectively with Rental, Retail, Lift Operations, and Guest Services to provide seamless guest experiences.
Recommend rental upgrades, retail merchandise, tuning services, and other resort products when appropriate.
Handle guest concerns professionally while striving to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
Follow all company safety and risk management procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
Binding certification test. (in-house testing)
Basic snowblower experience is desired
Must be able to shovel snow
Lift and move up to 40 lbs. of weight
Operate POS system, and organize space
The ability to work by yourself and to stay motivated
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
This position requires you to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 30 pounds on an occasional basis.
Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis.
Shoveling snow and keeping the sundeck clear of snow and ice
Some basic mechanical and cash handling experience is desired
Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.
Positive attitude with strong guest services and communication skills
Abides by all Crystal Mountain employment guidelines
