Job Summary

Are you passionate about baking and innovation? Join us as a Bakery Product Developer Co-op and play a key role in shaping the future of our products! We’re looking for a proactive, detail-driven individual who thrives both independently and in a collaborative team environment. In this role, you’ll juggle multiple projects, manage your workload efficiently, and contribute to exciting new product development initiatives in both lab and plant settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Research & Development Team in new product development, process improvements, and raw material testing
• Assist with lab experiments, sample production, and plant trials, including data collection and analysis
• Prepare accurate reports on lab and plant trial results
• Perform analytical tests on raw materials (e.g., moisture, water activity, pH) as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success

Key Qualifications

• Currently pursuing post-secondary education in Food Science, Chemistry, Food Engineering, or a related discipline
• Proficient in MS Office with strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
• A valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle is an asset
• Flexibility to work early mornings or adapt to alternate schedules when needed
• Above all, a genuine passion for baking and innovation
