Associate Veterinarian (Ophthalmology) –  Bellevue, WA

 

A specialty and emergency veterinary hospital is seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative clinical team. This opportunity is suited for a veterinarian interested in working in a specialty-focused environment with access to advanced diagnostics, experienced clinicians, and ongoing professional development.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive veterinary examinations and patient care
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for a variety of cases
  • Manage specialty and referral cases in collaboration with other clinicians
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and available hospital resources
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding diagnoses and treatment options
  • Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff
  • Participate in case discussions, rounds, and continuing education
  • Contribute to a supportive, professional, and learning-focused environment

 

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary program
  • Active veterinary license or eligibility for licensure
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to continued learning and professional development
  • Board certification or eligibility in a veterinary specialty is preferred
