Associate Veterinarian (Ophthalmology) – Bellevue, WA
A specialty and emergency veterinary hospital is seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative clinical team. This opportunity is suited for a veterinarian interested in working in a specialty-focused environment with access to advanced diagnostics, experienced clinicians, and ongoing professional development.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive veterinary examinations and patient care
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for a variety of cases
- Manage specialty and referral cases in collaboration with other clinicians
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and available hospital resources
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding diagnoses and treatment options
- Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff
- Participate in case discussions, rounds, and continuing education
- Contribute to a supportive, professional, and learning-focused environment
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary program
- Active veterinary license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to continued learning and professional development
- Board certification or eligibility in a veterinary specialty is preferred
