Description

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated MBR Designer to join our pharmaceutical MES delivery team and support the implementation of Rockwell’s PharmaSuite MES solution. The selected candidate will play a key role in translating manufacturing process requirements into digital, compliant, and efficient Master Batch Records (MBRs), ensuring alignment with GMP standards and global design principles. Working closely with process engineers, manufacturing and quality representatives, and MES functional leads, the MBR Designer will help deliver robust and scalable MES solutions that support pharmaceutical production operations.

As an MBR Designer, you will be responsible for designing and configuring Master Batch Records within PharmaSuite, ensuring consistency across sites and adherence to global templates and standards. You will participate in design workshops, review sessions, testing activities, and deployment efforts while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and resolve design challenges. The role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to support the successful delivery of global MES initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and configure Master Batch Records (MBRs) within Rockwell PharmaSuite.
  • Translate manufacturing process requirements into compliant MES design solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to global templates, design principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in design workshops, review sessions, testing, validation, and deployment activities.
  • Collaborate with process engineering, manufacturing, quality, and MES teams.
  • Identify process or design gaps and propose improvement opportunities.
  • Support standardization and best practices for future MBR development.
  • Ensure reusability, scalability, and compliance of implemented MES solutions.
  • Interpret process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and manufacturing documentation to develop MES design logic.
  • Contribute to troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities within the MES environment.

Job requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience working with Rockwell PharmaSuite .
  • More senior applicants are welcomed as well!
  • For a successful application, experience with Rockwell PharmaSuite should be clearly highlighted in the CV.
  • Experience in MES configuration, development, deployment, or support activities within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Master Batch Record (MBR) configuration and management.
  • Knowledge of Rockwell PharmaSuite modules and functionalities.
  • Understanding of manufacturing execution concepts, electronic batch records, workflows, and production processes.
  • Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with GMP, GxP, and other industry compliance requirements.
  • Ability to analyze business and manufacturing requirements and translate them into MES solutions.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international team environment.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to continuously learn new technologies and manufacturing digitalization solutions.
