Discover the opportunity to contribute actively and independently as a Data & AI Consultant, working with business and technical teams to turn complex data into meaningful insights and practical solutions. You will support the delivery of data and analytics initiatives across reporting, business insights, data transformation and advanced analytics, while continuing to build your expertise across modern Data & AI technologies.
Analyse business, operational and customer data to identify trends, patterns, performance drivers and opportunities for improvement.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and data visualisations to support business performance monitoring and decision-making.
Use SQL and Python to extract, clean, transform and analyse data from multiple sources.
Develop and enhance data transformation and integration workflows across enterprise systems and cloud-based data environments.
Translate analytical findings into clear insights and practical recommendations for business and technical stakeholders.
Develop KPI reporting and performance measurement solutions to improve visibility of business and operational outcomes.
Contribute to predictive modelling, forecasting and advanced analytics activities to support data-driven decision-making.
Work collaboratively with business, data, technology and governance stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose data solutions.
Support data quality, data mapping, governance and access-control activities to enable trusted and compliant use of data.
Identify opportunities to improve and automate existing reporting, analytics and data processes.
Contribute to project delivery through documentation, analysis, testing and stakeholder engagement.
HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Proficiency in Data Analysis & Interpretation, with experience deriving meaningful business insights from complex datasets.
Proficiency in SQL and experience using Python for data analysis, transformation and/or analytics.
Experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and/or Tableau.
Experience with data cleaning, transformation, ETL/ELT and data integration.
Experience developing KPI reporting, business insights and performance analytics.
Ability to translate complex data and analytical findings into clear insights and recommendations for stakeholders.
Experience collaborating with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and modern data environments.
A minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience in data, analytics, insights or a related discipline.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE
Experience in Predictive Modelling and Analytics.
Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks or similar cloud data technologies.
Experience with enterprise data sources or platforms such as Salesforce, Workday or ServiceNow.
Experience with data governance, data lifecycle management and access controls.
Experience working within large or complex enterprise environments.
Experience collaborating across data, engineering, product and business teams.
Exposure to AI & Data Strategy and emerging AI technologies.
Experience using analytics to support customer, operational or product-focused business decisions.
Location: Auckland
Salary range: NZD $100,000 – NZD $120,000
Standard Working hours: 37.5 hours/week
