As a Quality Inspector at DG, you’ll play an important role in the quality and reliability of aerospace components used on aircraft around the world. Working hands-on with a variety of parts and assemblies, you’ll perform in-process and final inspections, use precision measuring tools to verify requirements, and ensure products meet DG’s quality and workmanship standards. You’ll work closely with our Quality and Manufacturing teams to identify and resolve issues throughout the production process, giving you exposure to different products, processes, and areas of aerospace manufacturing. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):- Inspect in-process and finished parts and assemblies
- Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring tools
- Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Document inspection results and identify nonconforming parts
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO quality standards
- Support a safe and quality-focused manufacturing environment
- Assist with additional quality-related tasks as assigned by management
- Follow all DG safety procedures as per company policies and per the Facility Manager/Safety Director
What We’re Looking For (Minimum Required Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum (1) year of Quality Inspection experience in manufacturing
- Experience using measuring instruments and inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Ability to read blueprints and follow procedures
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn and cross-train
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Preferred Experience (Nice To Have):
- Aerospace, defense, automotive, or medical device manufacturing
- Electrical or electromechanical assemblies
- Mechanical assemblies or machined components
- Composite materials and structures
- Paint or surface finishing processes
