Logistics: CGS (cgsadmin.com) – one of BlueCross BlueShield's South Carolina subsidiary companies.
Location: This position is full-time (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday in typical office environment. You will work an 8-hour shift, 8:00AM – 5:00PM. This role is located onsite at 1657B Murfreesboro Pike, Nashville, TN 37217.
SCA Benefit Requirements: BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina and its subsidiary companies have contracts with the federal government subject to the Service Contract Act (SCA). As a Service Contract Act (SCA) employee, you are required to enroll in our health insurance, even if you already have other health insurance. Until your enrollment is complete, you will receive supplemental pay for health coverage. Your coverage begins on the first day of the month following 28 days of full-time employment.

Position Purpose:
Accepts, sorts, and delivers mail and/or supplies to the appropriate person or area. Provides support to assigned building when necessary.
What You’ll Do:
Sorts, delivers and picks-up mail (interoffice & US Postal Service), express mail/packages (FedEx & UPS) or delivers supplies to/from designated mail drops, functional areas and personnel, as necessary.
Coordinates, authorizes and/or accepts all non-food deliveries and inbound shipments to office site. Contacts (call or email) appropriate personnel, as appropriate, to alert them of a delivery that needs to be picked up. Orders and maintains supplies for one’s own department.
Maintains various logs and tracks invoices (manual and Excel spreadsheets) regarding supplies and mail/packages.
To Qualify for This Position, You’ll Need the Following:
Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Required Work Experience: 1 year related experience working in a business or government agency.
Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent organizational and customer service skills. Good judgment skills. Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion. Ability to move up to 75 pounds. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.
Required Software and Other Tools: Microsoft Office
Work Environment: Strict adherence to mail schedules daily. Occasional exposure to noise/dust/heat. Continuous movement is required throughout the day.
