As an Airport Security Officer: Part-Time Saturday/Sunday in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government airport location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and respond to alarms and security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $28.75 / Hour

Requirements: 

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 18+ years of age

• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

 

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, airport personnel, and/or government representatives while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, restricted-access points, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with verifying authorization for entry to designated areas in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate airport personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
