Job Description
As a Security Officer Spanish Language Patrol in Pomona, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and team members, document observations, and support a welcoming environment. - Provide customer service to clients, employees, vendors, and visitors at a grocery retail location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the store, parking areas, loading and receiving areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and customer areas; observe activity and help maintain orderly access in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and follow-up needs to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
