*Wage Range: $25 - $30 / hour

Automotive Technician / Auto Mechanic
Job ResponsibilitiesPerform high quality work in a timely manner as assigned and according to work orders while adhering to automotive industry standards.
- Inspecting / diagnosing and testing vehicles while recording findings so vehicle can be repaired correctly the first time
- Providing labor and parts estimates for additional repairs
- Explaining mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to customers
- Learning new technical information and techniques, as well as staying current with rapidly changing technology.
Job Requirements
Must be a problem solver who is team-oriented, flexible, has great communication skills and is focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
- Two more years of experience
- Working knowledge of standard shop equipment and tools
- ASE or other certifications a plus
- Personnel are frequently required to walk, sit, climb, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, lift, talk, see, hear, feel, use clear speech and operate machinery.
- Ability to employ discretion and confidentiality in sensitive areas.
