Crestron Technician - Washington DC

Length: Short-Term - 3 Months

Duties:

• Installation and connections of new equipment; removal of old equipment from workspaces, including packaging for shipment, and labor services to include replacing existing wiring infrastructure, identified hardware.
• Install and updating the technology of Creston Flex Videobar 70 replacement and auxillory parts including : LG 75 inch commercial 4K HDR TV with tuner, Chief power filter kit, Chief THINSTALL dual swing arm wall mount, Z Band CATV video distribution balun optional, Crestron Flex Videobar 70 conference solution, Crestron 10.1 inch scheduling touchscreen with light bar, Crestron angled multisurface mount kit, Crestron dual technology PoE occupancy sensor, Crestron Flex Care five year support allowance, Comprehensive 33 foot USB-C active optical plenum cable.
• Knowledge of AVIXA industry standard quality assurance standards for wiring, rack assembly, cable, and power management, etc.

Required:

• Installer shall have minimum of Certified Technology Specialist CST or CTS - Installation certification.
• Crestron Digital Media Networking Certification (DM-NVX-N)
• Crestron Digital Media Networking Certification (CNS-I)
• Crestron Master Programmer- minimum gold level, with Diamond preferred.

Education:
The AV/VTC technician must have at least 4 years of experience providing support for government networks and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
