General Manager

This is a full time General Manager position with benefits that requires nights and weekends, averaging 50-60 hours a week. Every Friday and Saturday night, we turn into a Latin nightclub from 11pm-3am. This position requires a wide range of beverage, service and business acumen. Manage the P&L, create weekly schedules, efficiently execute admin duties, discipline or coach the team to further success. General Managers also interview, hire and select their team.

• 5 years previous general manager experience in a fast-paced restaurant with high service standards.
• Diploma from a hospitality school is preferred.
• Adhere to food safety standards.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to speak, read and write English. Spanish is a plus.

Cuba Libre recognizes the importance of music and rhythm in Cuban culture, transforming after dinner on weekends into a late-night Latin hot spot featuring DJs spinning a mix of Latin music, with live performers and dancing.
