The People Leader (Caribbean and Central America) is a strategic and commercially minded human capital advisor who connects business priorities, people strategy, organizational effectiveness, and financial considerations to support sustainable business performance. The role requires strong logical thinking, empathy and the ability to connect the dots across complex situations in order to identify risks, clarify priorities and develop practical solutions. Through trusted relationships, excellent communication and a highly organized approach, the People Leader enables senior leaders to make informed, balanced, and timely decisions.
This person collaborates with HR Managers and Centers of Excellence, to implement and evaluate initiatives and plans that result in increased organizational effectiveness, engagement, leadership performance and the overall colleague experience.
Responsibility includes support to leaders at levels below CEO for Republica Dominicana, Panamá, Costa Rica and Puerto Rico.
This role will be based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

- As a senior advisor on people strategy to the business, this role collaborates with leaders to support strategic initiatives such as organizational design/effectiveness, workforce, and succession planning.
- Drive organizational re-design in anticipation of evolution in the business as a result of changing client expectations and requirements.
- Connect business priorities, people data, financial considerations and employee insights to identify root causes, anticipate risks and develop practical, sustainable solutions.
- Apply sound judgment and strategic thinking to complex people matters, balancing business needs, colleague experience, compliance requirements and financial implications.
- Translate complex information into clear recommendations and actionable plans for senior leaders and key stakeholders.
- Demonstrate empathy and emotional intelligence when managing sensitive employee, leadership and organisational matters.
- Build strong relationships across the business by understanding different perspectives, connecting the right people and facilitating effective collaboration.
- Use a structured and organised approach to manage multiple priorities, follow through on commitments and ensure timely delivery of agreed actions.
- Understand workforce costs, budgets, financial impacts and business cases, using data and financial insights to support responsible people-related decision-making.
- Continuously look for opportunities to simplify processes, improve the employee experience and increase the effectiveness of HR solutions.
What you need to have:
- At least 10 years of relevant experience as HR Head or HRBP
- Master´s degree as preferable.
- Experienced in working in a matrix structure preferable in multinational organizations.
- Experience designing, managing, and implementing innovative projects that promote organizational transformations through Talent or HR strategies.
- Experience on delivering changes through structured programs as well as exceptional time management and being able to manage multiple priorities at the same time.
- Recognized as an experienced advisor and coach to senior leaders, advising business strategies and priorities.
- Understands international or global issues and solutions affecting the workforce of the future and can explain how this would be applied in an HR context.
- Knowledge and experience of operating in the relevant business regulatory/statutory environments and markets, possessing the technical knowledge required to inform strategic decision making and solution selection.
- Demonstrated experience in leveraging metrics, SLAs and technology to shape execution process improvement and drive insights for proper decision making.
- Commercially oriented mindset, experienced in creating and evaluating the business cases for changes and new initiatives to ensure an appropriate return.
- Passion for delivering excellence through working in partnership with others, including cross-function and cross-geography teams.
- Proven record in adapting to changing skills requirements.
- Solid communication skills both in Spanish and English
