Description
1. Job Purpose
The Operations Lead is responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient and safe day-to-day operation of Enko Bonanjo. The role oversees school facilities, logistics, suppliers, maintenance, security, administrative operations and operational compliance, while ensuring that the campus provides a safe and effective environment for students, staff and visitors.
2. Key Responsibilities
Campus & Facilities Management
- Oversee the daily functioning, maintenance and cleanliness of the school premises.
- Ensure classrooms, offices, common areas and other facilities are properly maintained and operational.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Monitor utilities, equipment and other operational resources.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
Procurement & Supplier Management
- Coordinate the procurement of goods and services required for the smooth running of the campus.
- Identify and liaise with suppliers, service providers and contractors.
- Obtain and compare quotations in accordance with company procedures.
- Monitor supplier performance, service quality and contractual obligations.
- Ensure timely delivery of operational supplies.
Logistics & Inventory
- Manage school logistics, including transportation, deliveries, movements of equipment and supplies.
- Maintain accurate inventory and asset records.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of essential supplies.
- Coordinate the movement, storage and proper use of school equipment and materials.
Security, Health & Safety
- Ensure appropriate security measures are implemented across the campus.
- Coordinate with security providers and monitor security-related issues.
- Support emergency preparedness and ensure emergency procedures are communicated and implemented.
- Report and follow up on incidents, accidents and safety concerns.
- Ensure compliance with Enko's Health & Safety and Child Safeguarding policies.
Budget & Cost Control
- Support the preparation and monitoring of the campus operational budget.
- Track operational expenses and ensure spending remains within approved budgets.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary costs.
- Provide regular operational and financial updates to management.
Administrative & Compliance Support
- Maintain accurate operational records, contracts, licences and other relevant documentation.
- Ensure operational activities comply with applicable legislation and Enko policies.
- Coordinate inspections, audits and visits from relevant authorities or service providers when required.
- Support the Head of Campus with operational projects and school events.
3. Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Facilities Management or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in operations, administration, facilities or logistics management.
- Previous experience in a school, educational institution or service-oriented organisation is an advantage.
- Experience managing suppliers, contractors and operational budgets.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of health and safety practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and ability to use administrative systems.
