Job Description

As a Security Guard Vehicle Patrol HOA in Calabasas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by managing resident and visitor access, monitoring entry points, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with residents and guests, and remain visible to help deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, community policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry points, verify authorization for access, maintain visitor and vendor logs, and communicate with residents regarding guest arrivals as directed by site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters through established reporting channels when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry gates, streets, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports for incidents, unusual activity, access issues, and maintenance-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
