Role Summary

Sourcing and Production is looking for an Apparel Product Development Intern to join us for the summer supporting Anthropologie brand.

 

The Apparel Product Development Intern will support the Product Development team throughout the product creation process. This internship provides hands-on experience in apparel development, cross-functional collaboration, sample management, fit approvals, and vendor communication. The intern will gain exposure to the full product lifecycle while contributing to the successful execution of seasonal collections.

Summer Internship Program Application Process:

 

1) Apply to one (1) internship posting that best aligns with your interests and skills. If there is a project component included in the application (see role qualifications below), it is required and must be submitted at the time of application to be considered for the position.

 

2) Complete a Video Interview: Candidates selected to move forward will receive an email with a link to complete a video interview. Once the email is received, candidates will have two (2) days to complete this portion of the application.

 

3) Interviews with our internal teams will be scheduled on a rolling basis.

Role Responsibilities

 

  • Assist PD in managing styles development from initial concept through production handoff.
  • Track development milestones, sample status, approvals, and key calendar dates.
  • Organize and maintain product development WIP.
  • Coordinate receipt, logging, and distribution of development samples.
  • Support sample preview meetings by preparing samples.
  • Support communication with suppliers and vendors regarding sample requests and development updates.
  • Perform competitive market research and product benchmarking.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as needed.
