POSITION SUMMARY:
The Service Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of mobility and accessibility equipment. This role ensures equipment is installed and serviced safely, efficiently, and in compliance with manufacturer specifications and applicable regulations, while delivering high-quality service to support customer mobility needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The essential functions listed below represent the primary duties of the position. Duties may vary based on assignment and business needs.
- Install, service, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mobility and accessibility equipment in accordance with company standards and manufacturer guidelines
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and perform corrective repairs
- Conduct routine maintenance, safety checks, and quality inspections on mobility equipment
- Document service work, repairs, and inspections accurately and timely
- Communicate with supervisors, team members, and customers regarding service needs and repair status
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent, or combination of education, training, and relevant experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing, production, automotive, or professional service environment
- Mechanical, electrical, or technical aptitude with the ability to use hand and power tools
- Required certifications or licenses: Valid driver’s license; additional certifications as required by role or regulation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical or vocational training in automotive, electrical, or mechanical repair
- Experience with mobility, accessibility, or vehicle upfitting equipment
- Welding, electrical wiring, or hydraulic system experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work instructions
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work safely around machinery, tools, and manufacturing equipment
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in an environment that may include exposure to manufacturing equipment, moving mechanical parts, noise, fumes, or varying temperatures, depending on the role.
