We invite suitable candidates to apply for Assistant Manager / Senior Executive, Alumni Engagement. The incumbent will support the Alumni Engagement Team at CCDS including furthering the relationship between CCDS and alumni, supporting initiatives that tap on the strength of our alumni to support our student body and ensuring the successful running of alumni events.
Job Responsibilities:
Alumni Engagement Activities
Oversee, manage and support events together with the CCDS Alumni Association (CCDS AA)
Facilitate meetings with relevant Alumni stakeholders
Plan, organize and provide support for students and alumni activities and events
Manage news write-ups and social media platforms to enhance CCDS Alumni Office’s engagement with existing students and alumni
Serve as a point of contact to build enduring relationships with the CCDS AA and individual alumni to encourage ongoing involvement
Address all alumni enquiries and coordinate engagement opportunities
Alumni Strategies
Design and implement comprehensive alumni engagement strategies that align with College’s interests and strengthen the alumni network
Regularly assess alumni interests and motivations and create clear metrics that evaluate the success of events along with conducting continuous improvement proposals for future events
Report and propose improvements to existing alumni strategies to the respective Alumni Leads
Continuous Improvement
Create clear metrics that evaluate the success of alumni events
Conduct After Action Reviews (AARs) on all alumni events
Establish SOPs for the running of events, budgeting and work responsibilities between CCDS AA and the College
Improve existing SOPs to increase alumni engagement and efficacy of alumni programmes
Maintain and update the Alumni SharePoint to ensure accurate documentation
General Departmental Support
Provide support across various departmental tasks and events within the College
Coordinate logistics for departmental events and activities
Address inquiries and assist the Deanery, faculty, students, and alumni
Alumni Finance Matters
Monitor departmental budget, review allocated fund utilization and expenditure
Recommend purchases which align with the department’s needs
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of work experience in stakeholder management and partnership development.
Working knowledge of event management, with experience in planning and executing large-scale events considered an advantage.
Experience in stakeholder engagement and industry partnership management will be highly valued.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and database management systems.
Comfortable learning and working with new data and event management platforms.
Able to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Willing to work weekends when required to support student and alumni events.
