El Agente de Seguridad es responsable de mantener un ambiente seguro y protegido para todos los huéspedes, colegas y visitantes dentro del Hotel. Role
The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all guests, colleagues, and visitors throughout the resort. This role ensures that all security, safety, and loss prevention policies are effectively implemented and that all incidents are handled promptly and professionally. The Security Officer will perform both preventive and reactive duties, demonstrating the highest standards of discretion, integrity, and guest service aligned with Aman’s philosophy of peace and privacy.
Responsabilidades Principales
Monitorear y patrullar todas las áreas del resort para prevenir, detectar y responder a incidentes de seguridad y de seguridad ocupacional.
Operar y observar los sistemas de CCTV para identificar comportamientos inusuales, actividades sospechosas o situaciones de riesgo.
Apoyar la implementación de los procedimientos de seguridad del hotel, las respuestas a emergencias y los planes de evacuación.
Realizar investigaciones sobre pérdidas, robos, accidentes o daños a la propiedad, elaborando reportes precisos y detallados.
Asistir en el control de acceso a áreas restringidas y garantizar el uso adecuado de gafetes de identificación.
Responder de manera rápida y calmada a alarmas, emergencias y llamadas de asistencia de los huéspedes.
Reportar de inmediato al Supervisor de Seguridad cualquier equipo de seguridad defectuoso o con fallas.
Apoyar el mantenimiento de los sistemas de seguridad, incluyendo detección de incendios, extintores y salidas de emergencia.
Participar activamente en simulacros de seguridad, sesiones de entrenamiento y reuniones diarias del departamento.
Mantener la limpieza, organización y confidencialidad dentro de la oficina de seguridad y la sala de control de CCTV.
Relacionarse de manera profesional con los huéspedes, demostrando empatía y serenidad en todas las interacciones.
Colaborar con otros departamentos para garantizar operaciones seguras y una respuesta efectiva ante incidentes.
Promover la cultura de conciencia y seguridad proactiva de Aman dentro de la propiedad.
Observar y hacer cumplir todas las políticas del hotel, incluidas las relacionadas con la conservación de energía, seguridad laboral y código de conducta.
Realizar otras tareas asignadas por el Director de Seguridad.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol all resort areas to prevent, detect, and respond to security and safety incidents.
Operate and observe CCTV systems to identify unusual behavior, suspicious activities, or safety concerns.
Support the implementation of hotel security procedures, emergency responses, and evacuation plans.
Conduct investigations into loss, theft, accidents, or property damage, preparing accurate and detailed reports.
Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and ensure the proper use of identification badges.
Respond promptly and calmly to alarms, emergencies, and guest calls for assistance.
Report defective or malfunctioning security equipment to the Security Supervisor immediately.
Support the maintenance of safety systems including fire detection, fire extinguishers, and emergency exits.
Participate actively in safety drills, training sessions, and daily departmental briefings.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and confidentiality within the security office and CCTV control room.
Liaise professionally with guests, demonstrating empathy and composure in all interactions.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure safe operations and effective response to incidents.
Promote Aman’s culture of awareness and proactive safety within the property.
Observe and enforce all hotel policies, including those related to energy conservation, workplace safety, and code of conduct.
Perfil del Candidato
Mínimo un (1) año de experiencia en un puesto similar, preferiblemente en hospitalidad de lujo.
Diploma de preparatoria o educación equivalente requerida.
Dominio intermedio o avanzado del idioma inglés (mínimo 75%)
Certificación o formación como Paramédico, Primer Respondiente o en Primeros Auxilios Avanzados (CPR, AED, atención a trauma).
Fuertes habilidades de observación y elaboración de reportes; capaz de manejar información confidencial con discreción.
Excelente condición física y disponibilidad para trabajar horarios flexibles, incluyendo noches y fines de semana.
Capacidad para trabajar en equipo, con actitud calmada, integridad y buenas habilidades interpersonales.
Conocimientos en respuesta a emergencias, primeros auxilios y prevención de incendios son preferibles.
Manejo básico de computadoras y familiaridad con sistemas de CCTV es una ventaja.
Qualifications
Minimum one (1) year of experience in a similar role, preferably in luxury hospitality.
High school diploma or equivalent education required.
Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in English (minimum 75%).
Certification or training as a Paramedic, First Responder, or in Advanced First Aid (CPR, AED, trauma care).
Strong observation and reporting abilities; capable of handling confidential information with discretion.
Excellent physical condition and the ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends.
Team player with a calm demeanor, integrity, and strong interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of emergency response, first aid, and fire prevention procedures preferred.
Computer literacy and familiarity with CCTV systems are an advantage.
