Description

The selected candidate must pass (or have already passed) a fingerprint-based criminal history records check as required by the Transportation Security Administration.
Please note that this position will require after-hours work to accommodate airport operation hours.
As an Airport Construction Project Manager, you will:- Identify project needs, define objectives, develop comprehensive project plans and ensure compliance with laws, policies, and regulations.
- Manage project budgets, estimate required resources and prioritize project milestones.
- Perform project management for complex, multi-disciplinary development and redevelopment projects.
- Lead operational enhancements and process-improvement initiatives, as well as direct and coordinate design professionals, consultants, project engineers, and construction management teams.
- Facilitate problem-solving activities with project teams; identify issues and assign appropriate resources to resolve them.
- Serve as a technical expert in the project’s functional domain, providing consultative support to managers and internal/external stakeholders.
- Handle sensitive and confidential matters, complaints, and inquiries related to assigned projects.
- Track and report progress, status, risks, and performance of ongoing projects to appropriate parties while maintaining complete construction documentation and project records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inspection and construction reports.
- Lead Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI) processes for project-related procurement and services.

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in a related area of study
- Five years of full-time, professional experience in a related field
- Possess and maintain a valid, non-probationary driver's license not subject to restriction related to alcohol and/or drug violations or pending charges

- Familiarity with permitting processes, environmental compliance, and coordination with regulatory agencies (local, state, and federal).
