This temporary position is located at 1405 N Church Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 - Nash County.   

 
Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $39.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).

  • Bring advanced analytical and technical skills to Business Services to improve the way work gets done by supporting key projects
  • Improve business processes and implement smart technology solutions
  • Work collaboratively with staff across Business Services to find opportunities to simplify complex workflows, improve communication, and better organize information
  • Use a structured, data-driven approach
  • Focus on making it easier for employees to access the tools and resources they need, automating routine tasks, and finding practical ways to make our daily operations more efficient
  • Acts as a primary operational catalyst, driving the adoption of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (including Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, and Power Automate) to transition routine administrative tasks into automated, collaborative workflows
  • Supports leadership by analyzing operational data, tracking multi-agency project portfolios, and conducting rigorous research to inform strategic planning
  • Serves as a key liaison for technology changes, ensuring software change requests and operational procedures run smoothly across business units

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree from an appropriately accredited institution and three (3) years progressively responsible experience related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
