Description
JLL empowers you to shape a brighter way.
Our people at JLL are shaping the future of real estate for a better world by combining world class services, advisory and technology for our clients. We are committed to hiring the best, most talented people and empowering them to thrive, grow meaningful careers and to find a place where they belong. Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.
Role purpose
This is the first dedicated Furniture Solutions role in Hong Kong, working alongside the APAC Furniture Solutions Lead to help establish and operate the platform across Hong Kong and Singapore. During the launch phase, the role will be predominantly responsible for pre-sales commercial delivery - converting client briefs into accurate, competitive and profitable quotations, coordinating suppliers and supporting the sales effort. It will also provide hands-on support through commercial handover, order coordination and delivery readiness, where required. As both markets scale, the position is expected to evolve into a more defined Commercial Monitor or Project Coordination / Operations role.
Key responsibilities
• Build clear, accurate and commercially robust quotations using approved supplier pricing, logistics assumptions, margin rules, payment terms and delivery allowances.
• Obtain, compare and challenge supplier pricing, product options, finishes, lead times and commercial terms; identify gaps, risks and alternative solutions early.
• Support priority sales pursuits by assembling client-facing quotations, schedules and proposal content, responding to clarifications and helping shape commercially persuasive submissions.
• Protect margin and commercial integrity through disciplined cost build-up, assumption setting, version control, approval routing and maintenance of a complete audit trail.
• Coordinate clean handover of won work and, during the launch phase, support purchase orders, order confirmations, trackers, programme dates, delivery documentation, invoicing readiness and issue escalation.
• Maintain visibility across the Hong Kong and Singapore pipeline, live quotes and active projects, working closely with suppliers, Procurement, Finance, PDS project teams and other internal stakeholders.
• Help establish practical launch-phase processes, templates, price libraries, reporting and service standards that can scale as dedicated teams are added in each market.
Experience, skills and behaviours
• Relevant experience in furniture, workplace interiors, fit-out, estimating, sales support, commercial coordination, procurement or order management.
• Strong spreadsheet capability and confidence producing accurate, well-presented commercial documents.
• Good understanding of product specifications, finishes, supplier quotations, pricing build-up and margin mechanics.
• Highly organised, detail-focused and able to manage multiple live priorities at pace.
• Commercially rigorous but highly operational, with a strong bias toward action and follow-through.
• Confident dealing with suppliers and coordinating across commercial, procurement, finance and project-delivery teams.
• Comfortable working in a start-up environment where responsibilities will overlap and evolve as the business grows.
• Exposure to logistics, order confirmations, freight, warehousing, installation or project delivery is advantageous.
