About the Role

You will own product outcomes across our domain registration platforms. This is a multi-platform role: your decisions affect retail customers buying their first domain, resellers who build businesses on our APIs, and registry partners who hold us to hard compliance deadlines. You will take initiatives from discovery through delivery and adoption, and you will carry domain operations responsibility alongside product work.

You will join a small, product team where AI fluency is a first-class skill. We build with AI tools daily and expect you to do the same.

What you’ll do & how you’ll make your mark.

• Own domain registration, renewal, transfer, and expiry journeys across retail and wholesale platforms, and drive platform consolidation and portfolio migration initiatives.

• Translate registry and regulatory mandates (identity verification, KYC, data protection, country-code TLD policy) into product requirements and deliver them against immovable external deadlines.

• Run domain operations: registry pricing changes, TLD launches and sunsets, registrar credential management, and coordination with registry partners.

• Improve the platforms and APIs that thousands of resellers integrate with programmatically, writing requirements that hold up for partners, not just end customers.

• Run structured voice-of-customer discovery with retail customers and reseller partners, turning support themes, churn signals, and partner feedback into a prioritized roadmap.

• Partner with marketing on positioning, pricing, and go-to-market for new domain products such as protection, security, aftermarket, and premium domains.

• Contribute to fraud prevention and abuse mitigation across purchase and account flows.

• Build prototypes and simple working tools with AI coding agents to validate ideas and de-risk decisions before engineering investment.

What Success Looks Like in Your First Year

• You own two to three initiatives end to end, with requirements engineering trusts and stakeholders you keep aligned without escalation.

• Voice-of-customer inputs from your discovery work visibly shape the domains roadmap.

• Registry partners and internal teams treat you as the answerable owner for your platforms.

Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed.

Must have:

• 4 to 7 years of product management experience on platforms, marketplaces, APIs, or transactional products.

• AI fluency as a daily working practice: you use AI agents and coding tools such as Claude Code to research, analyze, and build, not just to draft text.

• Ability to code: you can build prototypes and simple working applications yourself to test ideas, demo flows, and answer questions before committing engineering time.

• Data fluency: you can size an opportunity and defend a prioritization call with numbers.

• Strong written requirements; engineering teams across time zones will build from your documents.

• Proven ability to run multiple concurrent initiatives with different stakeholders and deadlines without dropping threads.

• Comfort with compliance-driven work: legal and policy constraints, and decisions made with incomplete data where risks are explicit.

Nice to have:

• Domain industry, hosting, or registrar/registry experience.

• Experience with B2B2C or channel/reseller business models.

• Exposure to payments, fraud, or identity verification products.
