Overview: Precisely is seeking a revenue platforms Developer to support, configure, and enhance our revenue platforms in partnership with Revenue Operations, Sales, and Enterprise Applications. In this role, you will build and improve forecasting and deal inspection capabilities, dashboards, reports, hierarchy updates, and data integrations that help sales leaders manage pipeline, forecast accuracy, and business performance. You will work closely with Salesforce and revenue platform stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions and ensure users have timely, accurate insights. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving operational problems, improving user experience, and turning sales data into reliable reporting and forecasting capabilities.
What you will do:
- Design, build, and continuously improve revenue platform reports, dashboards, and data views that help Sales, Revenue Operations, and executive leaders understand forecast accuracy, pipeline movement, deal risk, adoption, and business performance.
- Own administration, configuration, and roadmap execution for revenue platforms, including forecasting workflows, hierarchy structures, and CRM data integrity.
- Evaluate and implement new revenue platform capabilities and integrations that expand platform value and support AI-driven insights across the revenue organization.
- Develop and maintain API-based data workflows to support forecast reporting and downstream business consumption.
- Partner consultatively with Revenue Operations, Sales leadership, and Enterprise Applications to understand the business question behind requests, recommend better reporting or workflow approaches when appropriate, and translate ambiguous needs into scalable revenue platform solutions.
- Establish best practices for system governance, data quality, and user adoption.
- Create and maintain revenue platform usage reporting to help leaders understand adoption, engagement, and opportunities for enablement.
- Analyze dashboard logic, source data, and metric definitions to recommend what should be added, removed, or refined based on business value, usability, and data quality.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information systems, computer science, or a related field.
- 3-5 Years revenue platform Development Experience
- Revenue platform Developer and Administration skills with Clari
- Experience configuring, supporting, or developing within revenue platforms, preferably in a B2B SaaS or enterprise sales environment.
- Proven ability to design and develop business-facing dashboards, reports, and analytics views that convert complex forecasting, pipeline, CRM, and usage data into actionable insights.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data, roles, hierarchies, opportunity objects, forecasting processes, and how those elements impact revenue platform reporting and forecast rollups.
- Ability to work consultatively with business stakeholders, clarify ambiguous requirements, challenge assumptions when needed, and recommend scalable solutions.
- Familiarity with APIs, data extraction, integrations, and troubleshooting data flow issues between Salesforce, revenue platforms, and downstream reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, documentation, testing, and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in business terms.
- You are not just a request-taker; you are curious about the business problem, comfortable asking better questions, and able to recommend reporting and workflow solutions that improve decision-making.
- You are comfortable working across business and technical teams to clarify requirements and deliver practical solutions.
- You bring strong attention to detail and can troubleshoot data, configuration, and reporting issues through to resolution.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, opportunity management, forecasting cadences, pipeline inspection, sales hierarchies, and the way sales leaders use data to manage the business.
- You value collaboration, clear documentation, and continuous improvement in the systems you support.
AI Skills/Knowledge:
- Experience integrating and leveraging AI platforms including revenue platform AI capabilities, Salesforce Einstein, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or OpenAI.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, AI-assisted automation, and AI-driven analytics.
- Familiarity with API-based integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) into business applications.
- Knowledge of AI governance, data privacy, and responsible AI practices.
- Experience designing AI-powered workflows that improve forecasting, reporting, adoption, and revenue intelligence.
Preferred Skills (a plus but not required):
- Revenue platform administration and forecasting experience
- Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ, or Revenue Cloud knowledge
- Integration experience (APIs, MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato)
- SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, or Tableau experience
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, OpenAI, Salesforce Einstein, or revenue platform AI capabilities
- Understanding of prompt engineering and AI-driven automation
- Knowledge of MEDDPICC, pipeline management, and revenue operations
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Relevant Salesforce or revenue platform certifications
