MRF Manager (Materials Recovery Facility)

MRF Manager – Ascot – circa £50,000 plus vehicle and bonus

Are you an experienced MRF or RDF operations professional ready to take charge of a busy, high-volume facility? DMA Recruitment is working with a leading business in the waste and recycling sector to find a hands-on MRF Manager for their site in Ascot.

This is a genuine leadership role. You'll take full day-to-day responsibility for a Materials Recovery Facility processing mixed C&D and C&I wastes, alongside an RDF operation, leading a team of over 20 people and reporting directly on operational and commercial performance.

What you'll be doing:

• Running day-to-day operations across the MRF and RDF facility
• Managing shift operations to hit company targets and quality standards
• Owning Health & Safety compliance, including incident investigation and corrective action
• Planning and delivering PPM, shutdowns and routine cleans to maximise plant uptime
• Driving continuous improvement across the site
• Managing the sale of all recyclate
• Controlling costs against budget and tracking productivity and site KPIs
• Managing RDF production through to offtake

What you'll bring:

• Solid experience managing MRF and RDF operations, ideally in a high-volume, multi-shift environment
• A track record of managing large operational teams
• Strong technical knowledge of the vehicles and plant used in MRF operations
• WAMITAB/COTC Level 4 (essential)
• NEBOSH (preferred)

You'll be approachable, organised and hands-on, with a strong sense of accountability and a genuine commitment to safety and continuous improvement. This is a business that values a manager who can build rapport across the site and lead from the front.
