Job Description Summary
We're looking for someone located in Jacksonville or Northeast FL. They will provide specific education to providers and all support staff through a variety of mediums including direct interactive learning sessions individually or in group settings, written guides and protocols etc. They build relationships with the clinical and clerical teams to ensure open communication for questions concerning the appropriate elements of medical records. Also, they will provide structure and content as well as the assignment of the appropriate codes as supported. They will facilitate training, education and support to Providers and staff which may be based on detailed analysis of general or provider specific trends, focus recommendations from pre and post claims submission data, carrier coverage updates, denial trending etc. They may also select key topics or direct requests from Providers or support teams as well. They will provide support to all areas of Management, internal Coding and Billing teams as well as other departments as needed.
How will you make an impact & Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State and/or County laws and regulations related to coding and documentation guidelines for CMS Guidelines.
- Assists in development of training curriculums, handbook and resource material.
- Coordinates and facilitates current coding and billing education and training using a wide variety of methods and media to deliver content, including onsite observation and training, printed materials and technical reports, power point presentations, teleconference and videoconference platforms.
- Coordinates with Millennium University on the above as needed.
- Coordinates with the Business Services Management team and/or Compliance Department as needed.
- Performs research for coding related issues that arise.
- Deliver content professionally and customize to specific audiences.
- Demonstrate technical knowledge through the use of industry-based applications.
- Support multistate golives and follow-up education
Compensation Range:
$58,165.00to
$87,247.00
The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
