TheManager, Planning Original Content will serve as an operational partner to the SVP, Head of Content, supporting the day-to-day coordination and alignment of priorities across Vice Presidents, Regional Heads, and key departments, including Development, Production, Legal, Finance, Talent Relations, Distribution, PR, Content Strategy, and Marketing.
This role requires solid industry knowledge, strong organizational capabilities, and the ability to facilitate communication and workflow across creative and operational processes. The Manager will help ensure that projects, meetings, and initiatives move efficiently through the organization while supporting alignment with the executive's priorities.
The Manager, Planning Original Content will be responsible for:
Executive Coordination
- Support the management and prioritization of the executive's agenda, ensuring alignment with key internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate communication and workflow between the Head of Content and Vice Presidents across Development, Production, and other business areas.
- Prepare briefing materials, meeting summaries, and supporting documentation for internal meetings and industry engagements.
- Track action items and follow up across teams to ensure timely execution.
Cross-Department Liaison
- Act as a coordination point between the executive office and departments including:
- Development
- Production
- Legal Affairs
- Talent Relations
- Distribution / Platform Strategy
- Marketing & Communications
- Support smooth information flow between teams and help identify operational bottlenecks for escalation.
Project & Talent Coordination
- Monitor the status of projects across development and production pipelines, flagging risks and updates.
- Support coordination with talent (showrunners, producers, creators) when needed.
- Assist in organizing pitch sessions, creative meetings, and talent interactions.
Operational Support
- Prepare reports and updates related to project status, operational planning, and team activities.
- Support the preparation of internal presentations and documentation for leadership discussions.
- Help coordinate logistics for industry events, festivals, and executive participation in key forums.
Process & Workflow Oversight
- Maintain visibility on project timelines, approvals, and internal processes.
- Help ensure that key documents, contracts, and approvals move efficiently through relevant departments.
- Support the prioritization and tracking of executive initiatives.
What we need from you to be part of this story:
- 5–7 years of experience in the entertainment industry or media companies.
- Solid understanding of the television and streaming production ecosystem, including development, production, talent relations, and distribution.
- Previous experience supporting executives or coordinating cross-functional projects in complex organizations.
- Advanced level of English (required).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with executives and creative talent.
- High level of discretion and professionalism.
- This is an Individual Contributor role with no direct reports.
