Objective / Purpose of the Function: Ensure that all operational personnel are trained and qualified in the function they are performing with the objective of contributing to their development of capabilities to meet the needs of the organization. Authority: All employees are responsible for the quality of their own work. Employees are also responsible for reporting any nonconforming products, documents, or processes to their supervisors. Employee suggestions for improvement are encouraged and rewarded. In reference to authority and responsibility, all employees are responsible for compliance with Environmental Management. Maximum authority on the site in relation to the maintenance, compliance and updating of quality systems. Maximum person responsible for quality assurance, enforcing the applicable internal and external requirements on the processes and products manufactured on site. Principal Responsibilities: • Direct support in the fulfillment of Training Plans and Programs. • Process and delivery of the Skills Certificates to the required personnel, as well as their integration into the physical files. • Updating and preparing course and/or competency matrices. • Carry out operator certification and recertification process. • Support in the logistics of courses in a timely manner. • Internal instructor (in different shifts). • Participate in internal and external audits. • Update course programming in the TRESS System when required. • Train staff in the necessary processes: new admissions, transfers and personnel in development plans. • Support in sending invitations to internal and external courses. • Compliance with the annual goals of the training area. • Maintain and support 6's activities in training areas. • Feed required reports in the training area. • Participation in the implementation of development of Improvement Projects in the area. • Comply with each of the points considered within the code of conduct (ethics) of Spellman de México, S.A. of C.V • Comply with the Health, Safety and Environment Policy, following the procedures and work instructions applicable to his/her activities for the participation in the established Objectives and Goals. Competences / abilities: Range/Level: (1-Basic, 2-Intermediate, 3- Advanced, 4- Expert) • Knowledge and understanding in Environmental & Quality Management Systems in their current versions (e.g. ISO 14001,9001). • Graduate and/or student with a degree in administration or related field. • Validate career with experience in the position for at least 2 years. • Basic knowledge of the Federal Labor Law. • Basic knowledge of STPS procedures (DC-1, DC-2, DC-3, DC-4). • Intermediate knowledge of the tress system. • Experience as an internal instructor. • Basic knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO14001. • Basic knowledge of the 5's, Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen methodology. • Practical knowledge of contour and drop soldering processes, assembly of thru hole electronic components, cable tinning, manual soldering. • Effective advanced communication. • Intermediate Office management. • Intermediate use of Outlook. • Advanced time management management.We at Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation believe that each individual is entitled to equal employment opportunities without regard to race, color, creed, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, national origin, age, veteran status or disability.
