Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic, customer-centric Senior Manager of Demand Planning to lead forecasting strategies and site level loading to support manufacturing capacity - utilization across Hyve global manufacturing sites. In this high-visibility leadership role, you will serve as the primary bridge between our hyperscale clients and our internal operations, collaborating directly with client stakeholders to capture, analyze, and refine potentially volatile rolling demand signals. A successful candidate will be goal oriented and highly focused on the development of system & processes, AI utilization, dashboard development, and achieving strategic KPI’s.
A core focus of this position relies on orchestrating tight collaboration with our Supply Chain Planning Team to balance volatile customer pipelines against internal factories capacity.
Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to)
- Direct Customer Interface: Partner closely with enterprise hyperscale customers to gather, validate, and track global rolling demand signals, technical roadmaps, and deployment timelines.
- Supply Chain Synchronization: Translate external customer forecasts into highly executable material plans by acting as the primary strategic link with the internal Supply Chain Planning Team.
- Capacity & Capability Interlocking: Actively evaluate manufacturing and testing capacity models across our global sites against shifting customer demand to proactively resolve resource constraints.
- Forecast Collaboration & Governance: Lead regular demand syncs with client procurement and engineering teams to address pipeline variations, lead times, and components under global allocation.
- S&OP Leadership: Own and execute the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) engine, driving cross-functional synchronization between Finance, Procurement, Engineering, and Production Operations.
- Constrained Optimization Management: Lead the strategic resolution, prioritization, and messaging back to the customer when demand outstrips available production capacity or component supply.
- Dashboard Development & Reporting: Work closely with BizOps and IT cross functional teams to develop or enhance reporting & dashboards, utilizing AI and ensuring clear tracking of metrics while meeting KPI’s
- Team Mentorship: Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing team of specialized demand planners and data analysts across multiple programs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field (MBA or APICS/CPIM certification highly valued).
- Experience: 8+ years of progressive supply chain experience, focusing heavily on manufacturing demand forecasting, multi-site capacity planning, or production scheduling within a high-tech manufacturing, OEM, or EMS environment.
- Client-Facing Success: Substantial experience managing direct relationships, negotiating timelines, and facilitating complex data exchanges with major B2B enterprise customers.
- Technical Mastery: Advanced command of enterprise planning platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, John Galt) coupled with deep data proficiency (Excel, Power BI, SQL, or Tableau).
- Data Center Industry Acumen: Deep working familiarity with hardware lifecycles, memory/CPU components, and the unique, fluid demand structures of major tier-1 cloud hyperscalers.
- Leadership & Influence: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with a track record of driving cross-functional alignment and managing high-stakes customer timelines under pressure.
Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $150K-210k annually.
Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and business needs.
