We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Sales Manager to grow our Energy and Process Systems (EPS) business in Northern Europe. Our focus Process industries in the region are Oil and Gas, Basic chemicals, Metals & Mining, Power-to-X, Biogas, Water and Wastewater treatment and Food Industry. Key customers in this role are typically End-Users, Consultants and EPC/OEM companies. Typical projects are greenfield and brownfield automation projects.

You can be based in any major Valmet location in Finland, such as in Tampere or Vantaa.

Your responsibilities

• Drive the Automation Systems sales in the EPS market in the region, with a focus on Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and other products, by understanding customer needs.

• Lead direct and indirect sales processes from opportunity identification to order closure, building strong relationships with existing and prospective customers and achieving sales targets.

• Collaborate within EPS organization in defining and implementing the EPS growth strategy, including actionable plans for business strategy execution.

• Conduct market research to identify new EPS customers and business opportunities. Stay informed on product launches and competitive landscape

• Analyze technical DCS enquiries, and define technical and commercial solutions in collaboration with product experts.

• Collaborate with Valmet´s global sales network and Service organization to ensure best possibilities for EPS service business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.

Who is the candidate we are looking for

• Degree in Engineering: Automation, Electrical or related area. 

• Solid understanding and experience from some of the focus process industries

• Some understanding of DCS systems in general  

• Knowledge in Legal process analysis, discussion and contract negotiations

• Fluent Finnish and English skills are mandatory in this position.

• Experience in Automation Systems sales towards Process industries in the region is an advantage

• Availability to travel mainly within Finland
