As a North America Regional AWC Marketing Director, you will have the opportunity to lead marketing strategy, portfolio activation, commercial execution, and customer engagement across the United States and Canada for Solventum's Advanced Wound Care business. You will serve as the regional marketing leader responsible for translating global portfolio priorities into market-driven growth plans that accelerate adoption, expand market penetration, strengthen customer relationships, and deliver measurable business results.

Marketing Strategy and Commercial Growth Leadership
- Lead development and execution of North America marketing strategies that drive revenue growth, market share expansion, portfolio adoption, and customer acquisition across the Advanced Wound Care business.
- Develop integrated growth plans aligned to business objectives, customer needs, market dynamics, and commercial priorities across the U.S. and Canada.
- Identify market opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive threats across acute care, post-acute care, outpatient, physician office, and home care settings.
- Partner with regional and global leadership teams to translate strategic priorities into executable market plans and measurable business outcomes.
- Support portfolio performance, annual operating plans, forecasting inputs, and demand generation initiatives that advance business growth.
Portfolio Strategy and Lifecycle Management
- Lead North America portfolio strategy and commercialization planning across the Advanced Wound Care portfolio.
- Partner closely with Global Upstream Marketing and Global Downstream Marketing teams to provide market insights that inform innovation, launch planning, and portfolio investment decisions.
- Develop launch strategies and go-to-market plans for new products, portfolio expansions, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Drive portfolio optimization, lifecycle management, pricing recommendations, and adoption strategies that support customer and business outcomes.
- Translate customer and market insights into actionable strategies that improve portfolio utilization and commercial performance.
Commercial Activation and Customer Engagement
- Lead development and execution of integrated marketing programs, campaigns, customer engagement initiatives, and demand generation activities.
- Partner with Sales, Key Accounts, and Commercial Excellence teams to improve customer acquisition, utilization, retention, and market expansion.
- Develop differentiated value propositions, messaging strategies, and customer-facing programs aligned to market needs.
- Support strategic account initiatives and health system engagement strategies that strengthen Solventum's position with key customers.
- Ensure successful execution of marketing activities that accelerate adoption of strategic platforms and therapies.
Cross-Functional Leadership and Business Partnership
- Serve as a strategic marketing partner to Sales Leadership, Key Accounts, Commercial Excellence, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Finance, Operations, and Global Marketing teams.
- Build alignment across functions to deliver coordinated business plans and exceptional customer experiences.
- Establish effective market feedback loops that influence portfolio strategy, commercialization priorities, and launch effectiveness.
- Navigate matrixed environments while driving accountability, urgency, and business impact.
- Champion collaboration across regional and global teams to achieve shared business objectives.
Team Leadership, Talent Development and Culture
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing North America marketing organization.
- Establish clear priorities, performance expectations, and development plans that strengthen organizational capability.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- Develop future marketing leaders through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and succession planning.
- Champion employee engagement and create an environment where individuals and teams can thrive.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) AND ten (10) years of marketing, commercial, portfolio management, business development, or sales leadership experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
- Five (5) years of people leadership experience leading teams and developing talent
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field from an accredited institution
- Experience leading marketing strategy, commercialization, portfolio management, or downstream marketing organizations
- Proven success developing and executing growth strategies that deliver measurable commercial results
- Experience launching new products and leading go-to-market initiatives within healthcare, MedTech, or medical device markets
- Strong understanding of healthcare market dynamics across acute and post-acute care settings
- Experience partnering closely with Sales, Commercial Excellence, Key Accounts, and cross-functional commercial teams
- Demonstrated ability to influence across complex matrix organizations
- Strong financial acumen, forecasting, resource allocation, and business planning capabilities
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams
- Experience in wound care, surgical solutions, advanced therapies, medical devices, or adjacent healthcare markets
- Exceptional communication, executive presence, presentation, and leadership skills
Work location: Remote or San Antonio
Travel: May include up to 40% domestic/international

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $211,600 - $290,950, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
