Description

Engage Squared is an award-winning, fast-growing Microsoft partner that believes in great workplace culture and investing in our people. We hire great people, work on interesting projects with amazing customers, and invest in our team so they can keep growing as technology changes.

We’re proud to be a five-time Microsoft Partner of the Year winner, including 2025 recognition for Global Modern Workplace for Frontline Workers and Microsoft Japan Copilot & Agent. We’ve also been recognised as one of the best places to work in the Australian tech industry, in the Australian Financial Review's BOSS Best Places to Work list, and the best small companies to work in WRK+’s Work for the Best.

As a Microsoft partner, we specialise in creating modern, secure workplaces with Microsoft technologies; helping organisations work better, together, faster. Our vision is to create a world where every employee has access to the tools, knowledge and information they need to enjoy work. As work becomes more connected, intelligent and AI-enabled, we help free employees from the friction of inefficient business processes and fill gaps in knowledge or support from their team, leaders and leadership, so they are empowered to be productive.

This role is open to anyone located in Philippines. We work across APAC, with teams and customers across Australia, New Zealand and Japan. You’ll be joining a growing regional team working with organisations across financial services, healthcare, government, education, energy, resources, retail and not-for-profit.

With an impressive roster of clients, including Westpac, CBA, NAB, Australia Post, governments at all levels across Australia, Origin Energy and more, you’ll be contributing to a growing team known for its expertise in connecting people with technology.

We pride ourselves on being a fun, innovative and collaborative organisation that practises what we preach and delivers great customer results.

What you'll do

Your growing knowledge of Microsoft’s cloud offerings (encompassing the latest in SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Azure, and supporting technologies) and excellent customer service skills will enable you to resolve incidents and service requests with ease.

In this role, you’ll be client-facing and responsible for providing end user support to our customers and internal employees. Your typical day will be full of variety, covering everything from speaking to our clients to reproduce their problem, working with project teams to transition new customers, responding to incoming requests within defined SLAs through our ticketing system, building new solutions using continuous improvement hours, and reviewing the work of your peers.

This role is quite varied, with a mix of different tasks throughout the week. A typical week may include:

  • Speaking to clients to reproduce their problem, document the behaviour that they expect and discuss potential changes
  • Responding to incoming requests within defined SLAs through our ticketing system
  • Working with our project teams to take on support for a new system
  • Building a new solution using continuous improvement hours
  • Reviewing other developers code or being an escalation for any difficult issues that need assistance.

What you'll bring

  • Strong written and verbal English skills
  • At least two years of experience working within a managed services or technical support team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to keep clients and internal stakeholders up to date, to keep tickets updated, and to ensure your work is well documented
  • Problem solving skills
  • Time management and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to work from own initiative and within a team environment
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve professional success in a challenging but exciting environment
  • Ability to manage workload and time according to set deadlines to ensure SLAs are met
  • Supporting development teams throughout the delivery of software development for our managed services clients
  • Peer reviewing code submitted by the managed services team
  • Owning your own backlog of development support tasks - including the development of SPFx, SharePoint and Azure based components
  • Leading the production of technical and user documentation
  • Providing technical training to both internal and external client

Desirable:

  • Min 1 year working specifically within Microsoft 365 technologies (highly desirable, but not essential)
  • Certifications in Microsoft technologies including the SharePoint, Azure, Power Platform, Teams Platform, Viva Platform etc (e.g. MS-900) & (ITIL 4 foundation) - (highly desirable)

We value inclusivity and diversity at Engage Squared. Research shows candidates from neurodiverse and underrepresented backgrounds often only apply for roles if they meet all the criteria.

We like to make our hiring decisions based on a combination of aptitude and passion, not just experience, so if you’re keen to apply and need reasonable adjustments please let us know. We also encourage you to let us know the pronouns you use at any point during the recruitment process.
