Vice President, Information Technology Infrastructure & Operations

Job Description:

The Vice President, Information Technology Infrastructure & Operations serves as the senior operational technology leader responsible for secure, reliable, scalable, and cost effective technology services across Easterseals NH & VT. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Vice President leads infrastructure, cybersecurity and information security, service management, operational governance, vendor management, technology lifecycle planning, and IT financial management. The role provides operational, security, supportability, financial, and capacity perspectives to shared planning and delivery decisions in enterprise applications, portfolio management, and data & development function areas.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field required, Master’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive information technology (IT) experience with significant leadership responsibility for infrastructure, cybersecurity, information security, service delivery, or technology operations.
• ITIL, CISSP, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, PMP, or comparable credentials preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading managers, developing teams, and managing organizational change.
• Experience in healthcare, human services, nonprofit, regulated, or complex multi-site organizations, preferred.
• Proficient in managing budgets, vendors, contracts, technology needs, operational risk, and service performance.
• Strong executive communication, collaboration, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Essential Responsibilities:

• Technology Operations & Service Delivery:
  • Lead day-to-day technology operations across all business lines and locations.
  • Establish service standards, operating procedures, escalation paths, service levels, and performance expectations.
  • Oversee Service Desk, end-user support, field support, incident management, problem management, and operational change practices.
  • Use operational metrics, risk indicators, and customer feedback to improve reliability, responsiveness, and user experience.
• Infrastructure & Technology Services:
  • Lead networks, telecommunications, cloud services, identity and access services, endpoints, collaboration platforms, infrastructure platforms, and technology assets.
  • Develop infrastructure standards, architecture guardrails, lifecycle plans, replacement schedules, and modernization priorities.
  • Ensure infrastructure services are scalable, supportable, resilient, and aligned with organizational requirements.
  • Coordinate operational readiness and support transition for new systems and major changes.
• Cybersecurity, Information Security, and Resilience:
  • Lead cybersecurity and information security operations, controls, monitoring, vulnerability management, access governance, security awareness, and incident response preparedness.
  • Assess, prioritize, and remediate security and operational risks using a business-aligned, risk-based approach.
  • Strengthen backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and technology recovery capabilities through documented plans and testing.
  • Provide transparent reporting on risks, control gaps, incidents, and remediation progress.
• Financial, Vendor, and Asset Management:
  • Develop and manage operating and capital budgets with the CIO, including forecasting, variance management, lifecycle funding, and investment planning.
  • Lead technology procurement, vendor selection, contract and licensing management, renewals, service performance, and commercial accountability.
  • Establish effective asset inventory, standardization, deployment, utilization, and disposition practices.
  • Prepare business cases that communicate cost, value, risk, support impact, and return on investment.
• Leadership Governance & Business Partnership:
  • Build a high-performing operations organization through coaching, performance management, succession planning, role clarity, and professional development.
  • Establish operational policies, standards, procedures, controls, decision rights, and governance practices.
  • Build trusted relationships with organizational leaders and lead cross-functional problem solving related to service, security, infrastructure, and operational process improvement.
  • Collaborate with peer IT leaders on roadmap development, initiative dependencies, capacity needs, prioritization, and enterprise decisions.
• Serve as a member of the Information Technology Leadership Team and collaborate with peer leaders to establish priorities, align resources, resolve cross-functional dependencies, and collectively advance organizational goals.
• Contribute to development and execution of the five-year technology roadmap.
• Share accountability for overall business satisfaction with IT, roadmap execution, IT workforce engagement, financial stewardship, risk management, and successful cross-functional delivery.
• Model enterprise leadership by optimizing outcomes for Easterseals NH & VT rather than a single function or team.

Compensation: $135,000-$145,000 based on experience, education and credentials 

Hours: This is a full-time position. 8:30am to 5pm, Monday - Friday.  40 hours per week.
