Pharmacy Technician
Full Time or Part Time
Price Chopper currently has a position open for a pharmacy technician in Spring Hill, KS. We are looking for a highly energetic, compassionate, friendly, team oriented individual. Experience is preferred but not mandatory. We provide hands on training. The candidate must have a strong desire to learn, work at a fast pace and have proven problem solving skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills are required. The candidate must be detail oriented and self-motivated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Accurate prescription data entry.
- Accurate and efficient filling of medications.
- Answering phones promptly and professionally.
- Maintaining customer confidentiality and HIPAA protocols.
- Dealing with insurance issues.
- Housekeeping duties as directed.
- Able to follow all checklists and procedures competently.
