Description
As a Warehouse Tech II, reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will safely load, receive, move, and manage materials within the warehouse while supporting production operations at our Centralia, Illinois facility. You will ensure accuracy, inventory integrity, material availability, and safe equipment operation while working collaboratively with production and warehouse teams.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Safely load outbound freight for customer orders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and damage-free handling while following all procedures and meeting or exceeding established goals.
- Receive raw materials, packaging, and other materials from vendors accurately and without damage while following required procedures.
- Obtain and maintain licensing for operating a forklift and other material-handling equipment.
- Operate ULF/robot palletizers and troubleshoot issues to maintain throughput.
- Provide accurate and timely service to production teams.
- Accurately count and maintain inventories of finished goods, raw materials, and packaging.
- Verify shipment staging, product information, lot codes, and inventory accuracy.
- Participate in warehouse sanitation activities and maintain compliance with food safety and workplace safety requirements.
- Actively participate in team meetings and pre-shift meetings.
- Demonstrate an engaged, self-directed, and collaborative approach with strong focus, critical thinking, and professional integrity.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- High school diploma or GED.
- Forklift experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred.
- Willingness to obtain and maintain forklift certification and operate other material-handling equipment.
- Experience working with inventory systems, bar-coding processes, or warehouse management systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed to support production demands.
Physical Requirements
