Job Description

As a Security Officer Secure Entry Driver in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment for personnel and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support security-related operations with integrity and teamwork. This is a driving position. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes as applicable, and maintain accurate access-control records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Observe vehicle, personnel, and contractor traffic at designated access points, applying site entry requirements and escalating discrepancies in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
