Job Description & Summary

The Opportunity

As a Philadelphia - DAT - Intern, you will engage in a dynamic learning environment, gaining exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies within our Assurance practice. You will support teams by participating in projects and conducting research, contributing to the team's success while developing your personal brand. As an Intern, you will focus on learning and gaining exposure, supporting teams with basic tasks, and observing professional work environments. You will have the opportunity to apply a learning mindset, appreciate diverse perspectives, and actively listen to enhance your understanding and skills.

In this role, you will be part of a team that provides independent and objective assessments, upholding transparency, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities

- Supporting audit teams by participating in the execution of digital assurance tasks
- Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain insights into financial reporting and compliance
- Assisting in the application of auditing methodologies to enhance the accuracy and reliability of assessments
- Engaging in basic research and data analysis to support audit findings and recommendations
- Participating in the development and testing of artificial intelligence platforms to improve audit processes
- Collaborating with team members to understand and apply cloud engineering principles in audit contexts
- Contributing to the evaluation of compliance and governance frameworks to uphold regulatory standards
- Gathering and analyzing information to identify patterns and insights that inform audit strategies
- Applying a learning mindset to develop personal skills and understanding of PwC's practices and methodologies

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
