$75.67-$89.19Job Description:
Are you interested in an opportunity to grow in your leadership journey at CHEO and gain new experiences? Reporting to the Vice President, Child Development and Community Services, we are looking for someone to provide temporary leadership in the role of Director, Home and Community Care. In this role, you will provide financial oversight to budgets totaling $40,000,000, as well as ensuring quality and safe patient care, and smooth operations for the following programs:
- Home and Community Care
- Rapid Response Nursing
- School-Based Rehabilitation Services
- Kids Come First Care Clinic / East Ottawa Kids Clinic
- Complex Care Outpatient Program
- Coordinated Service Planning
- Nunavut Program
In addition, the interim Director, Home and Community Care will work collaboratively with administrative, clinical and physician leaders across CHEO as well as with partners to ensure momentum of key transformational initiatives aligned with the Integrated Treatment Centre (ITC) approach to care.
You are known for your strong interpersonal skills that allow you to cogently communicate, motivate, and present to staff in all departments and levels, and to foster an inclusive environment that achieves results by valuing, supporting, and rewarding collaboration.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently holds a Manager or Director position at CHEO
- Master’s degree in business administration, health administration, or a related field. Equivalencies combined with experience will be considered. (Preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership position (Essential)
- 3+ years of experience working with community partners and forming strong working relationships
- Experience working with third-party vendors, overseeing contracts and performance management (Preferred)
- Experience leading large-scale transformational initiatives (Preferred)
- Experience managing complex budgets (Preferred)
- Experience obtaining and analyzing data (Preferred)
Timeline may be extended or shortened based on operational needs.
