Job Overview
PGIM Technology is seeking a Senior Director, Product Owner – Finance & HR Technology to lead a portfolio of technology products and platforms supporting Finance, Human Resources, and enterprise reporting capabilities. This leader will partner with senior business and technology stakeholders to shape strategy, advance modernization, and deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency, workforce insights, reporting, and organizational effectiveness across PGIM.
Working in Letterkenny in a hybrid format, you will combine product management expertise, business acumen, and technology leadership experience to deliver measurable outcomes in a complex enterprise environment. The role requires a leader who can translate business needs into pragmatic technology strategy, influence across functions, and guide delivery teams from concept through execution and continuous improvement.
What You Can Expect
- Define and execute the technology strategy and product roadmap supporting Finance and Human Resources capabilities.
- Partner closely with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation, automation, process simplification, and operational improvement.
- Lead cross-functional teams responsible for delivering scalable, secure, and resilient technology solutions.
- Drive modernization efforts across enterprise reporting, workforce analytics, and business management platforms.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leadership while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, data, risk, and security standards.
What You Will Do
Product Strategy & Leadership
- Establish and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Finance and HR technology solutions.
- Align product investments with business priorities, enterprise objectives, and organizational goals.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and value creation.
- Partner with business leaders to define success measures and ensure realization of expected outcomes.
Stakeholder Partnership
- Build strong relationships across Finance, Human Resources, Data & Analytics, Risk, Compliance, and Technology organizations.
- Act as a primary technology partner for functional leadership teams.
- Facilitate prioritization decisions and investment planning across competing business demands.
- Communicate product direction, delivery progress, risks, and opportunities to executive leadership.
Delivery & Transformation
- Lead end-to-end product delivery from strategy through implementation and continuous improvement.
- Drive Agile product management practices across distributed delivery teams.
- Oversee product backlogs, release planning, execution priorities, and delivery commitments.
- Champion transformation initiatives focused on process automation, analytics, reporting modernization, and operational efficiency.
Data, Reporting & Analytics
- Lead technology capabilities supporting financial reporting, workforce insights, organizational planning, and management reporting.
- Partner with data teams to improve accessibility, quality, governance, and utilization of business information.
- Enable data-driven decision making through modern reporting and analytics solutions.
- Support enterprise initiatives focused on improving operational transparency and business performance measurement.
Operational & Risk Management
- Ensure technology solutions meet enterprise standards for security, compliance, resiliency, and operational excellence.
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers as needed.
- Monitor technology health, adoption, and value realization metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement across platforms, processes, and delivery practices.
What You'll Need
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Finance, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience leading enterprise technology products, applications, or platforms.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with Finance, Human Resources, or corporate functions.
- Experience leading complex technology initiatives and organizational transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and product management principles.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Proven ability to influence decision-making across business and technology organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial services, asset management, insurance, banking, or another regulated industry.
- Experience supporting Workday, enterprise reporting, workforce analytics, or financial management platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, data platforms, analytics, and automation capabilities.
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams and external partners.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Azure, modern integration architectures, and enterprise data management practices.
